Petaj, originally the WWII coastal patrol boat ML 805, was purpose-sunk in front of the dive shop as a convenient ‘house reef’ for training and night dives. Now resting on the sandy bottom, the wreck is home to lionfish, batfish, puffers, and is surrounded by vibrant anemones. Following the 2007 earthquake and tsunami, the wreck has opened up further, offering new perspectives for divers of all levels—day or night.
