The Gap is renowned as Gizo’s ultimate drift dive, starting on the outside of Naru Wall and sweeping you into the lagoon amid swirling schools of fish. Divers regularly encounter barracuda, big-eyed trevally, reef sharks, and dense fish action as currents bring the reef to life. The wall begins at 30 metres, adorned with large sea fans and gorgonians, and the gentle current allows for long bottom times—often up to an hour—before ending the dive with a relaxing safety stop in the shallows.
