Support and Partnerships for the Marine Assessment - Conservation News

International Collaboration Fuels Conservation Success

The survey united NGOs, research institutions, and foundations in a shared mission for the Solomon Islands.

The marine assessment was a collaborative effort involving The Nature Conservancy, Solomon Islands Government, WWF, Conservation International, Wildlife Conservation Society, Australian research institutions, and more. Generous support came from foundations such as the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Homeland Foundation, and the MacArthur Foundation, as well as logistical support from MV FeBrina of Walindi Plantation Dive Cruises. This partnership demonstrates the power of international cooperation in advancing marine conservation.
