Permanent Moorings and Fish Monitoring Safeguard Gizo’s Reefs

Dive Gizo is proud to partner with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to protect the area’s spectacular reefs. Together, they have installed permanent moorings at 24 dive sites and established fish monitoring programs, using local workers and materials. These efforts prevent anchor damage and help maintain healthy coral ecosystems, ensuring that Gizo’s marine environment remains vibrant for generations to come.
