Dive Gizo continues its collaboration with SCRIPPS and NOAA, deploying and recovering Spray Glider units south of Ghizo Island. The latest recovery took place in March 2015, with another deployment in June. These gliders collect valuable oceanographic data, and even attracted the attention of a killer whale during a recent mission. The project highlights Dive Gizo’s commitment to supporting marine science and conservation in the Solomon Islands.
